Def a learning enjoyable process. 2000 I made one and it supposedly died when gone for 3 wks. I had that for 5 to 6 yrs. And tried to start another 2020 didn't try good enough. So I started husky mid November 2022. Looking forward to our baking. Husky was a name for out late lfemale dog who died of old age at 12 yrs old. So my starter is like her like to eat and needs special attention n love

Depends on when I'm going to use the starter.

Day 1 I made a starter of 1/2 cup of water and all purpose flour. Repeated until day 5. Then started 2 feedings every 12 hours. Almost gave up again day 8 but walla day 9 doubled. Day 10 doubled. So I made pizza and then loaves in pans
